Paddle Puzzle
By Bill Ballard

This is NOT an interactive puzzle.

Please print to solve this paddle puzzle.

Here’s What To Do

This puzzle is not as hard as it may look. The solution consists of one 29-word sentence, all common words, and it’s, naturally, paddle-related.

In the sixth row from the bottom there are 3 T’s - the one most to the right is the first letter of the first word in the sentence. From there you just track from square to adjoining square, up or down, left or right, or diagonally, spelling out the words as you go.

Want some help? Keep reading.

Help # 1: It will help if you locate some words by studying the grid, with special attention to the diagonals. That way you can tell which way the sentence runs.

Help # 2: The letter F in the middle of the puzzle is the ONLY letter used twice. Therefore, once you have used a letter, except for that F, it doesn’t get used again.

Help # 3: The black box in the upper half of the puzzle is where the sentence ends.

Help # 4: Imagine you are looking down at a paddle court and that the F I line is the net.

OK, have a go at it!
