125+ Tournament Photos

"We are here at Wee Burn". This sign told us so.

The entrance and clubhouse of the Wee Burn Country Club in Darien Connecticut where the age 125+ tourney was hosted.

Platform tennis courts are on three levels at the Wee Burn Country Club. Shown here are two of the levels and the warm-up hut.

From above, the top level courts at Wee Burn Country Club with the warm-up hut on the left.

Clay Bassett, facing camera in center and other players enjoyed a great lunch in the warm-up hut.
Pete Gogolak, left, put together an outstanding group of experienced players and champions, like Bill Childs (right) who came down from his home in Vermont for the tournament.

Rich Lombard, second from left, the APTA Senior Men's Chairman conducted the competition.
Bob Callaway, an APTA Board member, is the professional at Wee Burn Country Club. He did not compete in the event but was busy teaching on an unused court all the time play was held.
