AD IN - Updates of the match results in the National championships on paddlepro.com. For those of us unable to be in attendance at Chicago, but still interested in the results, it was a service ace.

AD OUT - Photo of APTA Board of Directors in Issue 4 of Platform Tennis magazine with proxy ballot. It failed to identify the individuals in the picture.

AD IN - Courage of Rick Macci in the March issue of Tennis (page 34) to suggest that an underhand serve might be an alternative to a “cream puff” second serve in that sport. Would requiring an underhand serve in platform eliminate our foot fault problem?

AD IN - Invitation by the APTA and acceptance by the Long Island Platform Tennis Association to conduct a women’s ranking tournament in December 2006. The area has many strong players, the courts and expertise to conduct an outstanding tournament.

AD IN - Camaraderie among players in the Senior Men’s Nationals for 50+, 60+ and 70+. Although there were decades different in age, these guys enjoyed one another’s company and stories.

AD OUT - “Term limits” for APTA Directors strikes again. By its provisions, Fritz Odenbach is forced to retire from the Board
