I disagree that the APTA should be making rules on everything.

The fewer rules the better.

As to court color, had there been rules, no one could have tried the purple shown in your article. Personally, I like the purple best of all the colors, and I like the 4" or 6" break at the service line to help identify "out" serves.

These would not have been possible with rules, rules, rules.
