AD OUT – In crediting “L.I.P.T. A.”, the Long Island Platform Tennis Association, as a “Bronze Sponsor” of the Nationals in Philadelphia, the APTA web site indicated it was the “Long Island Paddle Tennis”.  That’s another sport!

AD IN – Hall of Fame inductions for Cindy Prendergast at the “Nationals” in Philadelphia, PA and Alan Graham in Glenview, IL were courteously and attentively received.

AD OUT – In Volume 11, Issue 4 of “Platform Tennis Magazine”, we thank heaven for those ribbons on the Junior National Champions and Finalists.  The captions on the photos were misleading as to who were the winners and finalists.  The gold and green were the winners despite how the captions read.

AD IN – Brief biographies of the six nominees for the APTA Board of Directors in the magazine are a welcome addition to the “uncontested” election process.

AD OUT – Atlanta, Georgia, the location of the Annual Meeting, may be a great city, but is certainly not convenient for many members, nor the continuing and newly nominated Directors.  A city with a larger number of APTA members would be a better choice.   (Yes, I know the APTA is working on growing the sport there!)
