I want to thank all the readers who have taken the time to go to our website and read the commentary and articles that appear in each issue. It’s hard to believe but the last issue generated over 1300 visitors to our site in two days! Thank you for your interest and support.
Last month’s article on foot faults generated more responses than any single article to date. The overwhelming sentiment among readers is that foot faults should be called more often irrespective of the social tenets that may say otherwise. The requirement for roving foot fault judges at all qualifiers, ranking tournaments, and championships is a good start by the APTA to combat the epidemic lack of enforcement of this rule.
Sadly, due to time constraints I was unable to get my survey mechanism implemented in time for this issue as previously indicated. Hopefully, if time permits it will become a fixture in future issues.
